Yesterday I talked about changing “masu” (ます) to “mashou” (ましょう) on a verb to make it into “let’s”.
Today I will add something minor which is that you can make it a “shall we” question by adding “ka” (か) on the end.
Taking the examples from yesterday:
いきましょうか
“ikimashou ka”
shall we go?
食べましょうか
“tabemashou ka”
shall we eat?
勉強しましょうか
“benkyou shimashou ka”
shall we study?
始めましょうか
“hajimemashou ka”
shall we start?
Hey, why are there two people dancing on the image for this entry? You will find out tomorrow!
