Monday.
The weekend is over and it is the start of a new week.
“Boo!” or “Yay!” depending on how strongly you are feeling “a case of the Mondays”!
In English our days are named after specific things. Monday is “moon” day, Sunday is “sun” day, with most of the others being named after Gods (e.g. Thursday – “Thor’s” day.)
In Japanese the days also have names more creative than just “1-day”, “2-day”, “3-day”, etc.

I am going to be rather cheeky today and not say what the Japanese days are named after. I will reveal it tomorrow. But please look carefully at the symbols. Perhaps you can guess some of them? Perhaps you already know some of the words? Perhaps even one or two of them are named after the same things as in English? 🤔
